I suspect this street is in the Elm Road/Hampton Road or Eastbourne Road/Cemetery Road area and is in existence in the 1881 census. Can you tell me where it is or what it is known as now. _________________ Particular surnames of interest locally - Taylor and Aspinwall.

I've been told that Lorne Street ran from Boundary Street to Cemetery Road which is now Eastbourne Road. Hope this helps.[/quote]
